Fire Department Recruitment 2025: Selection

All candidates applying for the post of Fireman, Station Officer (Sub Inspector), Store Keeper, driver and other will be selected based on

1. The written examination consists of 100 marks, 40 marks for general category candidates for subject-specific general knowledge / logical / analytical 30 marks for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories.

2. CG Fire Department Physical Standard Test (PST)

For male, excluding Scheduled Tribes (ST), the height is 168 cm and the chest measurement is 81-86 cm. For Scheduled Tribes, the height is 168 cm and the chest measurement is 76-81 cm.

For Female, the measurement for all categories Height is 153 cm.

 

3. CG Fire Department Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Long jump- 12 feet in 3 attempts For male and 08 feet 3 attempts for female

 

Jump- 04 feet 3 times for male and 03 feet 3 times for female.

 

Shot put- (3 attempts) 04 meters for male and 16 pounds 04 meters, 08 pounds for female

 

100 meters race- 16.5 seconds for male AND 18.5 seconds for female.

 

1500 meters race- 05:40 minutes for male and 06:40 minutes for female
